Finding a Home Care Agency
There are many local home (or domiciliary) care agencies providing help with daily living activities such as walking, bathing, dressing, feeding, preparation of special diets and supervision of self-administration of medications.
Registered care services
By law, all care services MUST be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The CQC inspects services to see if they provide the quality care and safety standards. Use the link below to the CQC website to search for services and and see their latest inspections reports .
Care services accredited with the Council
The Council commissions care services for people who are eligible for support funded by Adult Social Care Services. As a part of our commissioning process we run an accreditation scheme which demands higher standards of care and value for money.
